RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

Our Commitment

At Lavender Cottage Designs, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.

Your UK Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, without giving any reason. At Lavender Cottage Designs, we offer an extended 28-day return period for your peace of mind.

Returns Process

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com within 28 days of receiving your order. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for return (optional but helpful)

We will provide you with return instructions and our return address.

Return Conditions

Items must be returned:

  • Within 28 days of receiving your order
  • In their original condition, unused and unworn
  • In original packaging where possible
  • With all tags and labels attached

Please note: Bespoke or personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty, as they are made specifically for you.

Return Shipping Costs

You are responsible for the cost of returning items to us, unless the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong item. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 7 days. Your refund will be issued to your original payment method.

We will refund:

  • The full price of the item(s)
  • Standard delivery charges (if you return your entire order)

We will not refund:

  • Return postage costs (unless the item is faulty)
  • Express or premium delivery charges

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return postage costs.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned once opened, unless faulty. This includes items that have been personalised or made to order.
