Thank you for shopping at Lavender Cottage Designs. We are committed to delivering your handmade embroidery kits and products safely and efficiently.
1. Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom, USA & Australia.
2. Processing Time
Standard Orders: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding UK bank holidays)
Bespoke/Personalised Items: Custom or made-to-order items may require additional processing time. We will inform you of the estimated timeframe when you place your order
Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next business day
Please note: Processing time is separate from shipping time.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
UK Orders
Royal Mail Tracked 48
- Estimated delivery: 2-3 business days after dispatch
- Tracking: Included
- Cost: Free
Royal Mail Tracked 24
- Estimated delivery: 1 business day after dispatch
- Tracking: Included
- Cost: £2.50
USA & Australia
- Estimated delivery: 5-11 business days after dispatch
- Tracking: Included
- Cost: £16.00
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail/International Despatch or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Order Tracking
- Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email
- For tracked services, your confirmation email will include a tracking number
- You can track your parcel on the Royal Mail website using your tracking number
- For non-tracked services, we cannot provide delivery updates once the item has been posted
5. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your selected shipping method
- Free standard shipping is available on all Uk Orders
- We are not responsible for any customs duties or import taxes
- USA Duties are included in the postage price
6. Delivery Address
- Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete
- We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- If you need to change your delivery address, please contact us immediately at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com
- Address changes may not be possible once an order has been dispatched
7. Delivery Issues
Lost or Missing Parcels:
- For tracked services: If your tracking shows the item as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbours and your local delivery office
- For non-tracked services: Please allow the full estimated delivery time before contacting us
- Contact us at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com if your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, and we will investigate
Damaged Items:
- If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com with photos of the damage and packaging
- We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate
Incorrect Items:
- If you receive the wrong item, please contact us at info@lavendercottagedesigns.com within 7 days of delivery
- We will arrange for the correct item to be sent and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item
8. Undeliverable Packages
- If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, we will contact you to arrange reshipment
- You may be responsible for additional shipping costs for redelivery
- If we cannot contact you or you do not respond within 30 days, the order may be cancelled and refunded minus original shipping costs
9. Peak Periods
During busy periods (such as Christmas, Black Friday, or other holidays):
- Processing and delivery times may be extended
- We recommend ordering early to ensure delivery before specific dates
- We will update our Website with any seasonal shipping deadlines
